Chosen Answer:

First off make sure your con %’s are read correctly. The only science study that made second hand smoke a carcinogen was the EPA, in which it’s study got thrown out by a district judge for “cherry-picking” their data. The Lung Assoc and the Surgeon General use the EPA report solely for their claims.

when they say 20% increased risk, what they’re really saying is if you’re a nonsmoker who happens to be of the (0.5% who get lung cancer) and was exposed to a lifetime of indoor smoking, there is a 20% chance that you’re lung cancer was caused by second hand smoke.

“The studies showed that for any given nonsmoker, the lifetime risk of getting lung cancer remains small: 4 to 5 in 1000 ordinarily, and 6 to 7 in 1000 if he or she has been living with a smoking spouse.”

FOR THE PROS
It helps Alzheimer and Parkinson diseases.
It’s been known to help with psychological issues most notably ADHD.
